Balsamic Figs with Goat Cheese

​ Balsamic Marinated Figs
1 pack of dried figs (either dark or golden
1 cup of high quality balsamic Vinegar
2 teaspoon of locally collected honey 
1 glass jar (up cycle opportunity here)
1 log of organic, goat cheese

 
Directions:  Figs
  1. Cut the figs in half
  2. Put into glass jar
  3. Add balsamic vinegar (can be sweetened with 1 tsp honey
  4. Let it sit in the cupboard overnight (however longer is better) 
 To Serve: 
  1. Place 2tbls Goat Cheese on dish
  2. Top with fig halves
  3. Drizzle with honey to your taste
  4. NOTE:  figs can be added to salads or served with ice cream or combined with strawberries
